Niseko Ramen Mount

Posted by admin at 2010-06-21 13:10:31.

RAMEN, introduced to Japan from China long, long ago, is a flour noodle dish flavored with meat broth and usually comes in 3 main varieties: Miso (traditional Japanese soybean paste), Shoyu (soy sauce flavoured broth), or Shio (salty broth). Every part of Japan has its own famous ramen that represents the region, but Hokkaido stands high above the rest, representing all 3 to perfection.

MISO GYOZA SHOYU

The newest ramen shop to hit the scene in the Niseko-Kutchan area is Niseko Ramen Mount just north of Homac and MaxValu along the route 5 corridor (MAP). Make sure you stop there AT LEAST ONCE while in Niseko... you'll probably go again the next day for seconds. And remember, nothing goes with ramen better than GYOZA (Chinese pot stickers)!

Open Daily (Closed Mondays)
Lunch 11:30am to 2:00pm
Dinner 5:00pm to 10:00pm or until the soup is gone!
